Wandering Stars
Dear friends,
This Thursday eve, Neptune
goes retrograde. This language is admittedly confusing. First of all, regular
readers know an Rx planet doesn't actually turn backwards - it just appears to
from our perspective on Earth. This counts for a lot.
Better to think of it this way: the few days
before Neptune exits from the cosmic stage (after the Rx), she gets a big
soliloquy, all spotlights blaring, everyone's attention just on her. Even the
usual King Sun and Queen Moon take second seat to to Neptune this week.
And what does this mean for you? The dream world
beckons. We may go to sleep early, just to catch a few extra. Oceans may call -
heed it. Art and music, theater and movies, fantasy and imagination all seem the
very pulse of life; except we already know we cannot put our fingers quite on
that pulse. Neptune is the intangible and untouchable world that penetrates our
soul. But who can touch a dream or a song?
Neptune connects us to the whole greater than
ourselves. In our rushaday world, these experiences can be few and far between.
But a quick trip to cloudland is easy - whatever arts take your there; and wine
for some, sugar for others, plants too.
As enticing as the song sounds, and as restoring a
night or two of fantasy, artistic and other various indulgences can be, this
time around the very Neptune station is twinged with the taste of bittersweet.
For Neptune opposes Saturn, and truth be told this means the giddy sugar high or
French wine buzz may not quite do it like it used to.
We might sense that our music needs to go deeper,
be more soulful, honest; or our arts may not look as beautiful as we once
thought. We could feel the push-pull between wanting the wine yet knowing we
won't think quite as clearly the next day. A bit more sad, some of us may feel
the heartache of a spiritual path that hasn't lived up to our first fresh hopes.
Whatever song Neptune sings for us, these next few
days take the emphasis off the typical material and on to a soul-full feast of
the imagination. Have your fill.

I may be entranced with Neptune on occasion and
talk in somewhat contradictory terms about planetary phenomena, but I can also
predict the stock market! Check out my latest results
here.
The very first line of Monday's forecast: "Expecting more up on Monday with a
strong move possible into 12:21+." When were indexes going vertically up? Right
into 12:21! While most of my work focuses on intraday moves,
check the section "Swing trading - big picture" for a general
direction on the
market.

Sun * in Gemini. After the Taurus focus on the material, with Sun in Gemini we
live the life of the mind. Thinking, writing and communicating come easy, and we
are more flexible, curious and open to change. This week our minds are doubly
sharp and agile with the Sun's ruler Mercury in his home sign of Gemini to boot.
Moon * 1st Quarter Moon in Virgo on Wednesday 5/23.
Monday 5/21 * Moon in Leo, Sun in Gemini. Everyone
goes for it a little extra with Moon in Leo; with ruler Sun now in Gemini, this
means both asserting and encouraging through our words. Compliment others and it
comes back.
Tuesday 5/22 * Moon in Leo. A heavier morning as
Moon moves towards Saturn until 12:25. Yet in the curious blend of energies that
aspects create, Saturn may feel like Neptune and Neptune like Saturn. So dear
reader, make sure the music is playing at work! An evening for Neptune delights
as written in the column above.
Wednesday 5/23 * Moon in Virgo 9:25 am, Mercury
trine Neptune early, 1st Quarter Moon. The messenger waxes poetic just after
midnight, so of all nights to write down dreams this is one. Then Moon in Virgo
will get us somewhat back to business. This quarter isn't as challenging as
some; our orientation and view is simply curious for its own sake, but we are
only satisfied with practical results.
Thursday 5/24 * Moon in Virgo, Neptune Rx, Venus
trine Uranus. It's simple - do your best to be productive during the day, and
perhaps eat some fish to keep your brain sharp. Then at night create whatever
collection of fantasies you can dream up!
Friday 5/25 * Moon in Virgo, into Libra 9:15 pm.
With Moon in to-do Virgo, we'll somehow manage to be able to get things done
before the long weekend. With Moon in Libra, we find partnership pleasure right
at home.
Saturday 5/26 * Moon in Libra. Remember last
weekend with Moon in Cancer conjunct Venus? A similar feel, yet this time the
enjoyments of food, home, family and nature are had through nurturing
relationships.
Sunday 5/27 * Moon in Libra. Mercury opposite
Pluto (ouch). After floating through a dream-world the last few days, this
morning can be a bit harsh. My advice: don't talk, just eat.
