Star Pearls is a weekly astrology column that I have been writing
since March 2003. It begins with musings of varying topics. Lately I have been
first writing a general interest section and then proceeding to more advanced
comments for the astrol literate on the list. Once a month I'm focusing on a
chapter of the Homer's Odyssey, the greatest astrological work ever written.
Star*Watch is a daily look at the positions of the planets. The
Sun remains in the same sign for one month starting around the 20th. The Moon
changes sign about every 2 days.
The Sun and Moon together set the tone of the time. The Sun is our fundamental
orientation for the month with a strong effect on overall outlook and action. Moon signs and aspects
show the changing energetic pulls of the
day and influence our feelings and mood. Other planet aspects influence
the energies for several days and sometimes weeks before and after the aspect
depending on the planets involved.
All times are Pacific Standard Time. Visit
www.alabe.com for the view of the chart for your current location, and
www.astro.com also gives planet positions.
Wandering*Stars is the section that observes the position of the
other visible planets of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn as well as the
North node and South node of the Moon (viewed as powerful as planets in Indian
astrology).
